NO PREP POPCORN ARTICULATION- 22 Sounds!
Lookin’ to add some “POP” into your regular articulation sessions? 🙂 If so, how about trying out these fun popcorn-themed activities in your therapy room today?
We have made several black ink only worksheets for you to print out quickly on your printer to have materials for all of the articulation students on your caseload. We are pretty confident with that statement because we included 22 EARLY AND LATER DEVELOPING speech sounds in this wonderful articulation document.
The sounds included are:
M, B, P. CH, F, G, J, K, L, R, AR, ER, OR, S, SH, ST ST, J, FL, CL, Voiced and Voiceless TH.
All sounds are provided at the word level. All words have a picture to accompany it! This aids in quick detection and understanding and helps to encourage repetition of each word by a wide range of students.
Some worksheets in this packet were designed for saying the targeted word before asking for a popcorn cover up. The students can cover up the words with the paper popcorn kernels provided in this document or with a real kernel of popcorn. Why not bring some nice smelling and yummy tasting popcorn into your speech session? You know your students would love that!!!
Other worksheets are for advancing not only articulation skills, but also motor and receptive skills as they require cutting, pasting and sometimes die rolling and picture cutting. Kids love these type of activities because they need and desire the act of moving while they work hard on thinking about how to correctly say their sounds!
